Design Services

As well as selling products, we also provide solutions, whatever your application we can offer custom design services for both hardware and software and are able to provide full drawings and prototype equipment to customer requirements.


Equipment maintenance is an important part of keeping monitoring and control systems operating correctly. We are able to support any equipment in our product catalogue, by telephone, in house or on site. Full repair facilities allow us to turn around equipment repairs with minimal delay. For problems involving site based equipment, our engineers are able to visit site in order to provide help and assistance to rectify equipment problems.


Alarm panels and controllers will need regular calibration to conform to current hygiene regulations. On and off site calibrations are available on all temperature monitoring equipment. We are able to provide traceability certificates for the calibration equipment used.


CDK manufactures its own equipment incorporating the services of specialist subcontractors where appropriate. All equipment is electrically and operationally tested before despatch to the customer.


CDK works with its customers to ensure the most efficient programme of installation of its equipment and systems. We are able to supply a complete or partial installation of equipment whilst working with the customer to ensure all equipment is installed to current specifications to meet project timescales.


Our service department is equipped to handle any problems that a customer may have on site. Spares are available for the majority of equipment manufactured in the past 15 years. We are normally able to have an engineer in attendance within 24hrs if required. Weekend callout facilities are available, ensuring that you are not left without support.


We have full test and repair facilities for any piece of equipment we manufacture and are able to offer fast turnaround on all aspects of repair.


We provide a range of commissioning services, for full systems we recommend a complete commissioning of all equipment in order to guarantee the installed functionality of the installation. The commissioning process can be quite lengthy and will depend on site location, store size and any wiring faults or other problems encountered.

Technical Support

CDK can provide dedicated technical support to customers dependent upon their requirements. For larger customers a manned telephone support service is available to deal with issues raised by the store or by the customer’s refrigeration contractor. If the customer’s sites are networked into CDK’s Remote Management System then remote diagnostics and resolution can avoid a more expensive service visit.

Remote Management System

For customers with a single site or multiple sites, CDK’s ‘Remote Management System’ provides 24/7 visibility, equipment and process management, data extraction and backup facility. Web based access enables remote interrogation of the site, remote configuration and our fully automated maintenance and management service. Whatever the application CDK are able to supply a customised solution to meet our customer’s needs.
